Risto Nieminen appointed Dean of Aalto University’s School of Science 17.05.2013Risto Nieminen – born 1948, D.Sc. (Tech) – has been appointed Dean of Aalto University’s School of Science and a member of the university’s Management Team as of 1 July 2013. Aalto University School of Science

The Aalto University School of Science started its operations on 1 January 2011. It is based on the Faculty of Information and Natural Sciences of the School of Science and Technology (former Helsinki University of Technology). Aalto University is formed by the merger of the Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and the University of Art and Design.
