Temperature and placing of charging stations affect the charging and performance of electric cars

Juuso Lindgren, M.Sc.(Tech.) will defend the dissertation "Charging of plug-in electric vehicle fleets in urban environment" on 16 February 2018 at 12 noon at the Aalto University School of Science. In this thesis electric vehicle fleets (including plug-in hybrids) in an urban environment with various computer simulations was studied. The results show that temperature and placing of charging stations both have a significant effect on the performance and charging of electric vehicles.
